    Wachuma Ceremony

San Pedro (often called Wachuma) is a cactus native to the Andes, used by pre-Inca civilizations for up to 4,000 years. Its active component is mescaline, and it is often considered to embody the masculine “grandfather” spirit, symbolized by the hummingbird. This medicine is known for helping to reveal our self-created barriers and limitations, aiding greatly in opening our hearts and fostering connection. Each ceremony is a profound meeting with ourselves, Mother Earth, and the Divine, serving as a mirror to help us recognize where we hold onto limiting beliefs and patterns, and gently guiding us to release what no longer serves us. San Pedro ceremonies are performed with thoughtful psychological preparation and physical cleansing, to support a transformative experience.
