Itinerary

Today we fly over the majestic Andes to Cusco. Make sure to have your camera ready for some spectacular photo opportunities. On a clear day you can see all the valleys and peaks and the tiny mountain towns scattered among the hills. In the afternoon we will have our introductory meeting to go over all the exciting activities we have planned for our journey.

Spend the rest of the day independently to adjust to the altitude and wander through the colorful town. Make sure to check out the fabulous craft markets to get a head start on gift buying. In the afternoon we will have our welcome lunch and introductory meeting to go over all the exiting things we have planned for our journey. (Overnight in Cusco)

After breakfast we make our way through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will visit Chinchero, a small village located high up in the windswept plains, offers spectacular views over the Sacred Valley and the snowcapped peaks of the Andes. Renowned for its beautiful traditional weavings, this town is the perfect place to pick up souvenirs and gifts. Here we immerse ourselves in the local community meeting village elders and the friendly local inhabitants.

We will have the pleasure to learn more of their traditional ways and practices and perhaps hear a few stories and tales. After lunch we will have a ceremony and Despacho (offering to the sacred Apus, praying for blessings and permission for our journey) and work with the sacred medicine San Pedro in order to connect deeper with our ancestors and the elements. We will invite a Qero Master to support this process.

(Overnight in the Sacred Valley)

Our first visit will be to Moray where we have a ceremony with our sacred medicine woman and initiations through a rebirth ceremony in the womb of Pachamama (Mother Earth) lunch at Urubamba and in the afternoon we’ll Journey to Pachar the sacred interdimentional portal where we will connect with our sacred masters of light.

(Overnight in the Sacred Valley)

After breakfast we will make our way to the sacred mountain of Chicon, the highest peak in the Cordillera of Urubamba, 5,800 meters above sea level, is part of the Vilcanota mountain range, majestic and beautiful snow is a constant challenge for the practice of adventure sports, especially for those who like trekking and climbing glacier is one of the most extraordinary Andean areas.

(Overnight in Cusco)

Today After an early breakfast we will have a 4 hours’ drive to an especial Waka called “Puma Orqo”, there we will connect with our ancestors, Puma Orqo – also called Tamputocco – was for the Incas a very sacred place. The myth of the Inca origins said that the four Ayar brothers and their wife’s emerged from four caves underneath the huge rock. One of them, Ayar Manco, called afterwards Manco Capac, was the mythical founder of the Inca kingdom.

After visiting the site, we will have a 45 minutes walking to reach Mauk´allacta, on the opposite side of the valley. With over 200 masonry structures, Mauk´allacta is closely associated with the nearby rock outcrop and cave of Puma Orqo, and both together were one of the most sacred temples for the Incas. Both sites were the worshiping place of the important Paccariqtambo rituals and scenario of sumptuous yearly celebrations. We will have a special ceremony and Despacho at the nine suns temple in Mauk’a llacta, in the afternoon we will drive back to Cusco.

(Overnight in Cusco)

Early in the morning we will travel from Cusco and cross the broad Anta valley. In this quintessential agricultural region we see small villages of adobe houses with thatched or red tiled roofs, fields of grain, and herds of cattle. Leaving the main road, we visit the Incan archaeological site of Quillarumiyoc (Temple of the Moon).

This religious center contains walls, buildings, fountains, and its centerpiece, the Moonstone. A limestone boulder with a base relief of the moon that is found only here, Quillarumiyoq is a place to honor the moon and feminine, in the afternoon we will drive back to Cusco and get prepared for our farewell dinner.
