This 12-day journey through the Sacred Valley and Cusco offers a deep connection with Inca culture
and the powerful energy of the land. From sacred sites like Machu Picchu, Pachatusan, and
Ausangate to spiritual ceremonies with Ayahuasca and San Pedro, you will experience profound
healing and transformation. Along the way, you’ll explore ancient ruins, meet local communities, and
enjoy breathtaking landscapes, creating lasting memories and friendships with Pumadventures.

Itinerary
Our journey begins in Cusco, where we will be met at the airport and transferred directly to the Sacred Valley. On the way, we will gather for our Welcome Lunch featuring traditional Peruvian cuisine. By coming down in altitude and starting your journey in the Sacred Valley, we will feel refreshed, energized, and ready for the days ahead. Once settled into your beautiful hotel, you will have an introductory meeting to go over all the exciting activities we have planned for your journey. We will also enjoy a short Welcome Ceremony involving a clearing of the personal energy field and reconnecting with the Andean spirits.

Today, we journey to Chinchero, the hometown of the rainbow. Nestled high on the windswept plains, this charming village offers sweeping views of the Sacred Valley and the towering, snow-capped Andes. Known for its exquisite traditional weavings, Chinchero is an ideal spot to find meaningful souvenirs and gifts. Here, we’ll be warmly welcomed by the local community, where we’ll have the unique opportunity to connect with village elders and friendly locals. We’ll also meet Puma’s family, who will share their stories and traditions, offering us a glimpse into their deeply rooted way of life.
As part of our visit, we’ll participate in an offering to Pachamama, sharing gifts and practices that are sure to bring lasting meaning to our lives back home. Finally, we’ll take part in a beautiful Connection Ceremony at the serene Piuray Lagoon, where we’ll offer our gratitude, love, and respect to Pachamama and the Apus, deepening our bond with the spirit of these sacred lands. In the afternoon return to your hotel in Sacred Valley.

The Pitusiray Glacier is located in the province and district of Calca in the department of Cusco. We will set out from the Sacred Valley at 8:00 am, making our way to Calca. From there, we’ll continue to Huaran, where the trail will lead us uphill for approximately one hour until we reach Pitusiray and Sawasiray, all
while taking in the breathtaking backdrop of this beautiful place.
Today, we will also have our first opportunity to work with San Pedro (Wachuma), a powerful and sacred–yet gentle — “teacher and healer” plant traditionally used to heal the heart in times of deep pain and hurt. Working with this medicine as part of a sacred ceremony, and with the protection of ancestral spirits, allows us to reconnect with the ancestral energy that helps us heal and transform our lives for the better under the guidance of our Master.

After breakfast, we will begin our tour by visiting Pachar- Ñaupa Iglesia (old church), one of the most mysterious Inca constructions in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. It is famous for being the place where religious ceremonies of Inca origin are carried out, such as the famous ‘payment to the land’. It was a Sacred Huaca, where a type of portal was finely carved. Today, it is popularly believed that this is a three-dimensional door to other archaeological sites. Will it be true? Learn more about this sacred place, little explored by visitors. Then, we will proceed to Perolniyoq waterfalls, where we will have a small ceremony after receiving the blessing of the Ñusta, before returning.
In the evening, we will work with Ayahuasca.

In the morning, we’ll set out for Ollantaytambo train station to begin a breathtaking train ride along the Urubamba River, taking us through lush landscapes to the charming village of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. After checking in at our hotel, we’ll take a bus up to the sacred sanctuary of Machu Picchu, where we’ll experience a spiritual awakening at this Cristal Condor site. Machu Picchu is a place of wonder—an architectural marvel and aprofound tribute to the Incan civilization. Once used as an astronomical observatory and a site of pilgrimage, this sanctuary now welcomes travelers from all over the world to connect with its sacred energy and ancient wisdom. Nestled among three powerful peaks that form a natural energy triangle, it’s the perfect place to meditate, set intentions, and expand our awareness.
In the evening, you’ll have time to stroll around Aguas Calientes and explore its cozy atmosphere.

After breakfast, we’ll board the train back to the Sacred Valley, where our journey continues with a trip to Ollantaytambo, known as the Sanctuary of the Wind. This ancient observatory and ceremonial center, set among stunning hillside terraces, invites us to step into history and nature alike. We’ll explore the Temple of the Sun and the Royal Baths and Fountains, immersing ourselves in a shamanic experience that connects us with the elements of earth, water, air, and fire. Following the gentle flow of the river, we’ll arrive at the Temple of the Condor, where we’ll take a few momentsfor quiet reflection and meditation.
As aspecial part of our day, we’ll have the opportunity to join an Ayahuasca Ceremony, deepening our connection with the sacred spirit of the land.

After breakfast, we begin with a visit to Sacsayhuamán, where we will marvel at this architectural wonder and learn about the mystery and legends of how this stone-walled complex was constructed. Next, we will guide you through a rebirth process in a nearby cave of the Cosmic Mother, also known as the Womb of Mother Earth. We then continue to Tambomachay, a favorite resting place of the Incas, commonly referred to as the «Baños del Inca» or «Baños de la Ñusta» (Baths of the Incas or Baths of the Princess).
This site, once used for ritual bathing, is believed to be a temple dedicated to the worship of water. At the Temple of the Condor, we will participate in a private Andean Initiation Ceremony to connect with the ancestral lineages. Connect with the sacred trilogy of the Incas– the Puma, Serpent, and Condor– and learn about what the Incan elders believed regarding parallel dimensions. After visiting other sacred temples around the mountain, we return to the city of Cusco for a city tour and to immerse ourselves in the smiles and laughter of the local people. Later, we visit Coricancha, one of the most revered temples, dedicated to the Sun God, whose walls and floors were once covered in sheets of solid gold. Wander the courtyard, which was once filled with golden statues.

Today, we’ll set out on the Mama Simona hike to discover some of the most beautiful spots near Cusco. Just an hour and a half away in the Ccorca district, we’ll arrive at stunning cliffs and the Tecsecocha waterfall. This impressive 50-meter waterfall, framed by unique rock formations, is perfect for
taking unforgettable photos and soaking in the beauty of nature. As we hike, our guide will lead us to ancient rock paintings and Inca tombs, sharing stories that bring the area’s rich history and culture to life. Reaching the top of the cliffs, we’ll have breathtaking views of the Andes and the Ccorca valley stretching below—an ideal spot to pause and take it all in.
This isn’t just a hike; it’s a journey into the heart of Inca culture and the natural wonders of this incredible landscape. In the evening, you’ll have time to relax and reflect on the day’s amazing experiences at your own pace.

After breakfast, we’ll leave the Sacred Valley for a three-hour journey by private transport to the charming village of Pacchanta, located at 3,800 meters (12,464 feet). Along the way, we’ll stop to visit the Sistine Chapel of Cusco, a hidden gem renowned for its beautiful murals.
As we continue, we’ll pass through stunning landscapes and traditional villages like Urcos, Cattca, and Ocangate. These first few hours of travel offer a wonderful preview of the majestic Cordillera Vilcanota, with breathtaking views of the towering Ausangate mountain.
Once wearrive in Pacchanta (4,400 meters / 14,432 feet), we’ll have the chance to relax in its natural hot springs, which provide fantastic views of Ausangate at the end of the valley.

We’ll start the day with a special breakfast before beginning our journey to the sacred lagoons of Apu
Ausangate. Along the way, we’ll connect with the paths of our ancestors, always accompanied by the Mama Coca. Our first stop will be at the Apacheta, a sacred step between two mountains or valleys, where we’ll make offerings to the various Apus and Mamacocha to invite their blessings and welcome us into their home. We’ll share the sacred leaves of Mama Coca, honoring the spirit of the land. Next, we’ll descend to the sacred lagoons of Otorongo Cocha and Ancash Cocha, where we’ll purify our bodies and spirits. By doing so, we’ll align ourselves with the crystalline energy of the Apu Ausangate, just like
the mountain’s snow.
Today you will have the opportunity to work with Wachuma (San Pedro).
Afterward, we’ll return to the community of Pacchanta, where a delicious lunch awaits. We’ll also have the chance to appreciate some of the beautiful textile work created by the local artisans. After lunch, we will return to Cusco.

Today, we’ll take a trip to Pachatusan, a sacred mountain in the heart of the Sacred Valley. After breakfast, we’ll travel to the base of the mountain, passing through beautiful villages and stunning landscapes.
Pachatusan, meaning «Mountain of the World,» was an important Inca site. We’ll begin our hike to
the summit, where we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the valley and nearby peaks. At the top, we’ll take a moment for a small ceremony to honor Pachamama and the Apus, offering our gratitude to the spirits of the mountain.
Afterward, we’ll head to a local village for a traditional lunch, followed by time to explore and meet the locals. In the afternoon, we’ll return to Cusco, reflecting on the peaceful energy of Pachatusan.
In the afternoon, we’ll gather for a Farewell Dinner, a special time to enjoy each other’s company and reflect on the journey we’ve shared. It’s a moment to appreciate the experiences, connections, and personal growth from these days together, celebrating the sacred path we’ve all walked.
