Also, if you choose to have the Ayahuasca Retreat Cusco for 2 days, we will organize an overnight in Chinchero after, as it is a comfortable and soft way to rest after the ceremony. Another way is if we organize the overnight with hotels and lodges that we work with in the Sacred Valley, where we do ceremonies, and it facilitates a lovely and easy experience.
What Happens During ayahuasca ceremony?
Although all ceremonies are unique, you can expect common elements when you attend an ayahuasca retreat in Peru. Usually we have a private ceremony, where participants know each other. The ceremony starts with cleansing rituals like smudging with palo santo, working with agua florida, tobacco. These help prepare your body and mind, and clear your energy for the adventure.
When you are ready to receive a cup with brew we recommend sharing your intention with Ayahuasca spirit. Do you desire to recover from old traumas? Do you have questions about your spiritual path?
