What Happens During the Ceremony?
Usually done in the evening, the event follows a conventional framework:
Participants start with a time of intent setting and spiritual preparation. The shaman starts the rites with protective practices and ancestral prayers. Sacred icaros—traditional healing songs—are used during the experience to lead and support the adventure.

Ayahuasca Retreat Itinerary
Ceremony & Introduction
These ceremonies take place in the evening. Depending on your location, we will pick you up around 4:00 PM and bring you to Chinchero, where our center and the ceremony are held. You will have the option to either spend the night in Chinchero after the ceremony or return to your accommodation in Cusco or the Sacred Valley the same evening. Upon arrival, you will receive an introduction to the medicine and a talk about working with Master Plants. The ceremony itself typically lasts between 3 to 4 hours. During the ceremony, our Ayahuasca Master will guide and support your process with various rituals and sacred icaros (healing songs).
The amount of medicine given to each participant is carefully determined based on their energy level and mental strength – it is not a standard dose for everyone, but rather tailored to individual needs. After the ceremony, we will transport you back to your location.
